To achieve this, they collaborated with 360Pros to create an interactive virtual tour that showcases the distinct features of their GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf service coaches while placing the train within its iconic surroundings.

The decision to embark on a rail journey is often inspired by the allure of scenic landscapes and premium onboard comfort. Rocky Mountaineer wanted a virtual solution that would capture both elements—allowing users to explore the train’s luxurious interiors while feeling as though they were traveling through its spectacular route. The challenge was to seamlessly merge the train’s design with the breathtaking locations it passes through.

Development and Features

To create this seamless experience, 360Pros took a unique approach to capturing the Rocky Mountaineer in its full glory. The train was photographed while stationed, ensuring the highest quality interior and exterior imagery. Simultaneously, drone photography was conducted at key locations along the route, capturing the stunning landscapes the train traverses. These two elements were then meticulously combined, making it appear as though the train was situated at each breathtaking stop along the journey.

The virtual tour offers an intuitive, 360-degree exploration of both GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf service coaches. Users can navigate through the bi-level GoldLeaf coach, featuring full glass-dome windows and a lower-level dining room, as well as the single-level SilverLeaf coach with its oversized windows and spacious seating. Interactive hotspots provide insights into gourmet dining options, luxurious seating arrangements, and the expansive outdoor viewing platforms available to passengers.
